What types of tools will you find in each category?

General - posts about the Toolkit itself.
Presentation - anything related to producing a finished project, such as a paper, website, presentation, etc.
Online Searching - how and where to search for scholarly, academic materials.
Note Taking - keeping track of your research, through both annotation and organization.
Citation - aids to properly citing sources and avoiding both plagiarism and copyright infringement.
Collaboration - tools to help you work with others, such as a class group.
Portable Apps - tools that you need to download, but can be run on portable drives (USB, “thumb” drives, etc.)
Web based - tools that are completely on the web. All you will need will be a computer with a web browser and an internet connection. Many use javascripting and/or Flash, so you will need a modern web browser and allow scripts to be run.
